Terms of Service

Welcome to International Boat Works (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, booking an appointment, or making a payment, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

International Boat Works specializes in yacht management, marine detailing, and related services, including but not limited to:

• Exterior and interior boat detailing
• Gelcoat restoration and polishing
• Bottom cleaning and painting
• Scheduled boat maintenance

2. Payment & Pricing

• All service prices are provided upfront or quoted upon inspection.
• Payment is required before or upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
• Any additional services requested beyond the original agreement will incur additional charges.

3. All Sales Are Final & Non-Refundable

• All payments made to International Boat Works are final and non-refundable.
• Once payment is submitted, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Customers may request to reschedule an appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice.
• We reserve the right to reschedule or delay services due to inclement weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
• If a customer cancels a service without rescheduling, the payment remains non-refundable.

5. Liability & Service Limitations

• While we take every precaution to protect your vessel, International Boat Works is not responsible for any pre-existing damage, oxidation, wear and tear, or issues arising from improper vessel maintenance.
• We are not liable for damages caused by third parties, environmental conditions, or customer misuse after service completion.
• The customer is responsible for disclosing any known issues with their vessel before service begins.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers must provide access to the boat at the scheduled service time.
• We require a suitable work environment, including dock space, marina permissions (if applicable), and access to water and power as needed.
• Failure to provide necessary access may result in a forfeited service fee.

7. Changes to Terms of Service

International Boat Works reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within the state.
